The ELM 327 USB Code Scanner is an interface diagnostic tool that is used on cars. The system is very easy to use as you will only be required to connect your car to the ELM 327 USB Code Scanner. The software EasyobdII 2.2 only works with windows vista but for other operating systems you should not have any problems. Just go to go to the Control Panel then, system --> Device manager -->Ports --> USB serial port and you will be able to see what number you will choose. Once you have reached this stage, everything else will be self explanatory and all you will need to do is follow the instructions on the screen.
